Born in 1966 in Essen. Training to Dissection-technical assistant in the field of medicine in Bochum.

1992-2002 activity in the anatomy Department of Ulm. 2002-2004 appointed at the John A. Burns School of Medicine, Dept. of Anatomy and Reproductive Biology, Honolulu, USA.

Since 2004 at the "Institut fot Anatomy and Cellbiology” at the University Heidelberg.

2009-2012 bachelor, “Medizinalfachberuf” with key point Education at the FH Nordhessen.

2014 Dissertation (Dr.sc.hum) about historical teaching aids at the Heidelberger Anatomy, supervisor: Prof. W.U. Eckhart
