Jan Cabri

PROF. DR.

Jan Cabri has a Bachelor (1982) and Masters (1984) degree in Physical Therapy. He received his PhD in Physical Therapy and Motor Rehabilitation Sciences in 1989 at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (Belgium). He was appointed as director of research at the Luxembourg Institute of Research in Orthopedics, Sports Medicine and Science, after an academic career of more than 30 years.

His research interests are mainly in applied (sports) biomechanics and kinesiological electromyography. He is the Secretary of the Scientific Board of the European College of Sport. He also acts as a Section editor in the European Journal of Sport Science.
